Nicki Briggs, MS, RD

Recently recognized by PRWeek as one of its 40 Under 40 ‘PR trailblazers to watch,’ Nicki Briggs is a driven communications professional, specializing in the food and beverage industry with a passion for health and wellness. As a Registered Dietitian skilled in consumer behavior and integrated messaging, Nicki bridges the divide between complex science and downstream consumer communications.

Nicki is the Co-Founder and Principal of Artisan+Main, a full-service food and beverage company incubator, accelerator and strategic consultancy. Artisan+Main was created to help emerging and existing companies make great products and share them with the world.

Prior to Artisan+Main, Nicki led communications for CHOBANI INC., overseeing all public relations, influencer relations, social media, customer service, corporate communications, executive visibility, government affairs, corporate social responsibility, crisis preparedness, issues management and nutrition strategy for the company. As Chief Communications Officer, Nicki played pivotal role in helping grow what once was a small yogurt company in to a one- billion dollar brand in less than five years, gaining the company recognition as one of the most successful startups ever.


Nicki's work at CHOBANI is featured in the Harvard Business School case study, “Growing a Live and Active Culture.” Her expertise has been featured in New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The NewYorker, Health, Shape, Better Homes and Gardens, Fitness, Cooking Light, Eating Well, Redbook, Baking & Snack, Gourmet Retailer, Grocery Store Headquarters, Today’s Dietitian and Intermezzo.

Nicki received her Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida. She continued her training at Tufts University’s Freidman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Nutrition Communications and completed her Dietietic Internship at the Tufts Medical Center.
