Registration will open in January 2025 and will remain open online until April 15th. Registration will be available on-site this year, if space is still available.

Yes, anyone attending the conference will need to register and pay. If attending ONLY to present your session, there will be an option to do that. Details will be emailed to you when notified of abstract acceptance.
YES. There is a separate registration and fee for the Learning Institute (pre-conference workshop). These tickets will also available on our event ticket page.
Online registration requests a credit card. If you are unable to pay by card, you may complete the registration using the code PAYBYCHECK. Checks may be made payable to and mailed to: NYSPHA, PO BOX 38127, Albany NY. Please note the name of the attendee on the check stub. You do not need to included the credit card fees, if paying by check.
Once the check has been received, your registration will be complete. If checks are not received by April 25th, the registration will be cancelled. If you require a purchase order for payment, please contact NYSPHA at info@nyspha.org to inquire.

Cancellation is available up until April 20th if you contact us in writing. You may also contact us to transfer your registration to a colleague at any time.

Abstracts are due by 11:59 PM (EST) on October 18, 2024.
No, unless we grant a general extension to all potential presenters, we did not allow for individuals. Once abstract submissions are closed, our reviewers begin their work. Final selections are made in December and the schedule finalized. Submitters will be notified by January 20th.
We welcome students to submit abstracts in areas that reflect our call for abstracts topics however, there is a separate call for student posters that is released in winter 2025. Up to 20 students from around NYS will be selected to present their posters at the conference.
Each year, we host one plenary session with 3-4 presenters who each cover a "hot topic" in New York State. These can be anything that is pertinent to public health at the moment and you feel public health professional need to know more about. Each presenter has 15 minutes to present.
