In a time of continuing change, we seek resources for those we serve. There are lots of government and private foundation funders, but it may not be clear which are the best match for our programs and service populations. Which make the most sense given the amount of time we have to spend on fund raising? How can we identify the best prospects and prepare competitive proposals? How can we build long lasting relationships with our funders?
By the conclusion of the workshop, you will have been introduced to the concepts of identifying appropriate funding prospects; the varied contacts and proposal formats awarding funders might need and how to use the grant award year to deepen your relationship with the funder.
